You are bidding on a sporterized Mauser. Not the prettiest is the world but mechancially fine and with an excellent shiny bore. Probably Spanish but could be one of the South American models. No maker marks or crest on it but it does have a serial number. 7mm Mauser caliber. Altered bolt for scope. FN style safety. Excellent crisp trigger. It might be a commerical adjustable type. I did not take rifle apart to look. Drilled and tapped. Weaver bases and rings included. Walnut sporter stock with a scant cheekpiece. LOP 12 3/4 inches. Barrel still has it's original military barelycorn front sight. Barrel is 20 inches long whcih tells me this was original a carbine to begin with. Blueing is a mix of thin maybe 50% original military finish with some parts showing black enamel paint as well. Wood only has small small marks here and there. A great foul weather deer rifle that is scope ready. See pics and ask questions.
