ORIGINAL WELL WORN HARD RUBBER GRIPS W/S&W MONOGRAMS ARE NUMBERED TO THIS REVOLVER. 6" BARREL, SMALL S&W MONOGRAM ON SIDE PLATE ( NOT REGULARLY FOUND ). 5 SCREW AND PINNED BARREL. BORE HAS SOME LITE PITTING FROM THE CORROSIVE AMMUNITION OF THE PERIOD BUT RIFLING REMAINS SHARP AND BRIGHT. SOMEONE IN THE DISTANT PAST HAD SCRATCHED WHAT LOOKS LIKE TWO INITIALS ( E O ) IN THE SIDE PLATE. THE ACTION LOCKUP AND TIMING IS ALMOST AS NEW.
