this is a nice little Anschutz thats in good condition, and works great. the stock is a little rough and the bolt has some staining, not rust. the bore is nice and the blue is in great condition, i have not been able to find any info on this rifle. the only thing Anschutz could help me with is that it was made in 1962. markings as follows: top of barrel: J.G. Anschutz GmbH. Waffenfabrik Ulm/D. Germany left side of barrel under rear sight: CAL .22Long Rifle rim-fire combination ( proof mark)( bird with wings open and something in its claws ) 62 (proof mark) on top of receiver: ANSCHUTZ right side of receiver: ***933 (serial #) left side of receiver: four small screws for scope mount? right side of barrel: light electric engraving of what looks like hieroglyphics? cocks on closing, and has a bullet guide ramp thing that slides open and close with the bolt and ejects the spent shell. total length of the rifle is 39". LOP is 13 1/2" barrel is target crowned, i was told that this could have been the German equivalent of a boy scout training rifle. if any of you have anything to add please let me know.
