Smith & Wesson US Army Model 1917 " United States Property" DA 45 with fixed sights, double action, smooth walnut wood grips, capacity 6. Barrel length is 5 1/2" overall length is 10 1/2". On top of barrel it says Smith & Wesson Springfield Mass USA. Patented DEC. 17, 1901 FEB 6, 1906 SEP 14,1909. Has United States Property on under barrel. Has concentric groove cut on side of hammer. Serial no 116XX. Finish has wear and speckling overall. Grips has scratches and dings. JS-1
