This gun is up for auction as a parts gun only. We cannot guarantee that all the components of the gun are present. Parts may or may not be missing from this gun. If we know what is missing we will put it in the description. This gun should only be considered as a parts gun for repairing other guns or as a fixer-upper that may require parts. We purchased this gun to use as a parts gun for our gunsmith. On some guns he has removed parts, some he has not. We are accumulating too many, so we are listing them to reduce our inventory.
You are looking at a Manchester Arms Tommy Gun lookalike semi-auto carbine (Commando MARK 45) made in Lenior City, Tennesse. This carbines is chambered in .45 ACP.
The bore on this gun is shinny with decent rifling. The metal finish on the receiver of MARK 45 is in good condition with a black paint type finish. However, the MARK 45 has some runs on the barrel and a small spot of rust. The lower-half of the receiver on the MARK 45 appears to be plastic with a black crinkle finish. The trigger is made of plastic. The magazines is a military issue 30 rnd stick magazines. The operating handle is on the left hand side and appears to be bent. The rear sight is a stamped steel blade style with gaurds. The front sigth/compensator is made to resemble the cutts compesator of the orignal Tommy gun, but on this model it is only for looks and is held on by set screws. The forend handle and grip on the MARK 45 are plastic, while the stock is wood. All the wood and plastic handles appear to be usable, however there are varying degrees of finish wear. There are no cracks in the wood or plastic. The MARK 45 has a plastic buttplate with no cracks.
This gun is being auctioned AS ISparts gun with no guarantee that it will function properly. The safety appears not to be functioning properly. We did not test fire this firearm.
