Here we have a Winchester Model Big Bore 94 XTR in 375 Winchester, which is in good condition. These rifles were manufactured in limited numbers in this caliber. This particular Model Big Bore 94 XTR was manufactured between 1983-1987. The gun is chambered in .375 WIN and has a 20" round barrel (pre warning) with a hooded front sight and adjustable rear semi buckhorn sight. This is a Top Eject model (pre USRA) and come with a hammer extention installed. The gun has a checkered walnut forearm and checkered walnut straight-grip stock.
Bluing on the gun is 90% or better. The finish on the gun is good overall condition with some surface rust under the action, the finish has been rubbed off in front of the rear sight on the top of the barrel as well as a spot of pitting on the right side of the barrel behind the front sight and the right side of the receiver. The bore is bright and in excellent condition. As mentioned, the gun has a checkered walnut forearm and checkered walnut straight-grip buttstock that appears to have been refinished at one time. Both shows signs of typical handling marks but no cracks, in either. The buttstock has the factory red recoil pad w/black spacer and is in good condition. The rifle has had a swivel stud install in the buttstock and a swivel band added to the magazine tube
