Manufactured in 1937 for German Army. This WWII Auto pistol was prized by both the German Officers and American GI's. The SN on the frame and reciever is 319. All other parts are stamped 19. The toggle is stamped S/42 and the extractor is stamped 19. The magazine SN is 4068. The grips are wood with no cracks. The gun is very tight and mechanics are very good. The finish is worn with some light pitting no rust. The bore is clean with stong groves. The top of the reciever is stamped 1937 with a scratch mark. The markings have a german eagle, and the letter a is stamped on the reciever below the the serial number. Inclued is a black holster made for the luger. The holster is in excellent condition. The holster has no staming or marks. Before firing I would have this checked by a quailifed gunsmith.

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  Hello, Are there any import marks? What does 1937 with a scratch mark mean? Is the holster original or reproduction? Is the finish on the metal original? thanks Charles 08/06/2009
A:  No import Marks, The metal where it is dated 1937 has a scratch on the finish , small line in the metal . The finish is orginal, I would rate the remaining bluing between 50 to 60%. The holster has no mfg marks, or military emblems. Its plain black. I am not fimilar with military holsters. This holster was made for a luger, thats all I know. 08/06/2009
