Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  Hello, how is the barrel marked/dated? Do you have a Buy It Now price in mind you would consider? Thanks for your time. 08/04/2009
A:  Hello, I forgot to mention the Barrel marked SC with a flaming bomb over 2 43. I tried to upload another picture but the site wouldn't let me (I guess 10 is the limit) so I'll email it to you- THANKS for your interest- TOM 08/05/2009

(Public)
    Q:  How is the barrel inside........2, 4, or 6 groove? condition.....fair, good,or other. Thanks bellman 08/05/2009
A:  Looks like 6 groove- excellent bore- THANKS for your interest-TOM 08/05/2009

Q:  Hi. What are the inspector's initials within the cartouche? Thank you. 08/05/2009
A:  The first letter is an "F"- second looks like a "J" but hard to tell as it's very weak and the cartouche is stamped stronger and deeper on the left side and runs out to nothing on the right- Hope this helps- THANKS for your interest- TOM 08/05/2009

Q:  Hi-If you don't have the gauges to measure the TE (throat erosion) and the ME (muzzle erosion), could you show a picture of a cartridge inserted bullet-end first into the muzzle? (gives an indication of barrel (crown) wear). Thanks. 08/12/2009
A:  Send me your email address and I'll send you a picture. The gun does not appear to have been fired very much at all- I'd say less than a box of shells as the feed ramp into the chamber still has 97-98% parkerizing. I do not have any guages but the bullet into the muzzle snugged tightly before it seated above the cannelure on an original AP round. THANKS for your interest- TOM 08/12/2009
