Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Swedish Mauser by Gustafs -- Mod. 94 Carbine/6.5x55/All Matching Inside & Out

C&R Eligible. Up for bid is my m-94 Swedish Mauser Carbine. It is not a 94/14 carbine. It escaped the reconfiguration process of 1914. Original model 94 carbines did not have provision for the M-14 bayonet. In 1914 a number of existing model 94 carbines were reconfigured by Swedish armorers and a bayonet was then added, thus the 94/14 carbine. Produced in Sweden in 1907 at the Carl Gustaf's facility. Ser# 401xx. All visible numbers are matching including the stock and hand guard[see photos]. It has the walnut stock and issue 94 carbine leather sling. It has a unit disc on the stock which reads "GbK" over "M" over 3661. This relates to the assigned unit that it was placed with. This carbine was issued to the Swedish Navy at the "Gotlands Kustartilleriforsvar" or "The Coastal Artillery at Goteborg" and was issued as rifle # 3661. The bluing has thinned to around 40% bluing remaining as you might expect after 102 years of service. There is no rust on metsl or cracks or splits in the stock. The bolt head is pristine as well as the bore which is excellent and very bright and shiny. There is a small chip in the stock at the left side fore-end that buttes up to the nose piece[see photo]. The stock has customary handling marks but nothing major. The caliber is 6.5x55. The total length is 37" and has a 17" barrel. It is a very handy little carbine. I have owned it for over 10 years and it is time for someone else to enjoy it. I have not fired this rifle. Will you give it a home? Bid with confidence
