Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Smith & Wesson -- S&W MODEL 48, 22 CAL MAGNUM RIM FIRE

Manufactured in 1959. S/N is K-373097. This revolver is a 4 screw. 6 inch barrel, 6 shot cylinder. The stocks are walnut S&W Magna style with S&W medallions, checkered with a diamond around the nut and escutcheon. This revolver has target sights, target trigger and target hammer. The backstrap and frontstrap is serrated. The rib of the barrel is also serrated. The frame topstrap and both sides of the barrel rib has a matte finish. The colors on the case-hardened hammer and trigger are beautiful. Finish is blue. The only place that I see any wear on the finish is at the muzzle crown and you don't see it right away and it is hardly noticeable. Actions are tight and smooth. Chambers and bore are clean and the grooves in the barrel look good. This is a fine looking revolver and would make a nice addition to a collection.

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  I am from central PA and would like to see this Model 48. Please contact me by my personal Email address. 02/23/2009
A:  HarryTheHat: I just looked at the last firearm that you purchased---------you also have access to the same courtesy that is extended to every member of AuctionArms***GunAuction***----after you log in, goto "view feedback" on the right hand side of the "Home" page---after you select "view feedback", the prompts are pretty much self-explanatory. After you ask for feedback on Woodman1, you'll be more at ease in making a decision once you have read what the previous buyers had to say about me in regard to the firearms that I sold to them----those opinions plus the 10 pictures that I took of the firearm that I'm presently selling should enable you to make a decision one way or another. Thank you for your inquiry and have a good day. Woodman1 02/23/2009
