From my father's estate- a Savage Model 24 Series S .410 & 22 "over and under" in good condition
My father purchased this over and under for rabbit and varmint hunting. He liked to hunt and used it off and on for about twenty years. He always took good care of his firearms, and this one was no exception. It is marked as a Series S, uses both 2.5 and 3 inch .410 shells, .22 shells, and is stamped with serial number D074337. Sort of a greenish brown stock, no pitting in the barrels. Clean and pristine, except for the scratches on the stock. My father was a career Marine, saw action in the South Pacific during World War II in the 15th Marines, retiring as a "Gunny" in 1962. He has had a love of firearms his entire life, and he gave my brother and I his collection last year. This little over and under was a part of that collection. I am listing it exclusively here on the NRA site, knowing that it will almost certainly go to a good home. Right now I need the money- tight times and a tight economy. I have plenty of my father's things- so I'm ok selling this here.
As you can see from this photo, it's in pretty good shape- quite a bit of scratches on the stock keep it from a higher rating. I am happy to conservatively rate it as an "Good" (or maybe higher) and if you are a member of eBay, I would invite you to check out my perfect feedback on eBay (restatham), with almost 700 positive reviews and ZERO negative reviews in my many years on eBay. I would be happy to take reasonable phone calls and emails to discuss the condition of this firearm, and to send additional photos if you'd like. But I can tell you that it's a nice over and under and will give someone years of pleasure to use. I thought about saving it for my grandson, but decided to sell it instead. I'll save my Dad's .22 semi-automatic instead.
I myself am a disabled veteran of the US Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard) and am a father and grandfather. But I have plenty of my dad's firearms and plenty of my own. Time to let this one go to a new home. I would prefer a money order or cashier's check.
Please indicate to which licensed firearms dealer you'd like me to ship. I will have to charge a flat $25 to ship it anywhere in the lower 48, plus $10 to insure it (your option).

If you have low feedback or negative feedback, I reserve the option to reject your bid. Good luck!
