Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Colt -- Cobra 38 spec. Revolver - mfg. 1973

This is a previously owned early 1970's Colt Cobra that is in nearly new condition. It is a 6-shot 38 Special revolver with a 2 inch barrel and alloy frame and shrouded ejector rod. The serial number is in the C736xx range which according to records, was manufactured in 1973. Condition: The bright blue finish is the factory original and this revolver appears to have been fired very little. There is only the lightest cylinder stop drag mark on the cylinder that is normally found on Colt revolvers through normal handling or useage. There is only the slightest of finish wear to the leading edge of the R.H. side frame in front of the cylinder that one must really look for to see and a pin-point size wear spot on the L.H. side near the muzzle. The remainder of the revolver is nick and scratch free. The screw head slots are not marred. The original grips have been replaced with Pachmayr grips and I DO NOT have the originals. The factory box is NOT included nor available from me for this revolver. Overall this gun is in better than excellent condition mechanically and appearance. Please notice my $25.00 shipping, insurance, and handling charge and take that in to consideration when entering the maximum bid that you are willing to place. Any questions feel free to contact me. I offer a 5 day inspection period and will refund ALL costs including shipping/insurance, if you are not 100% satisfied with this Colt revolver. This item as well as all of my items run for the entire duration of the auction and I will not cancel prior to the ending date and time so please do not ask me to do so.

Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  Quick question on this Cobra. I thought all Colt Cobras were alloy guns, not steel as you mention in your description. Could you please verify? Thanks in advance for your time and reply. Garry 02/10/2009
A:  My mistake. You are correct. I'll change the description. Thanks for the heads up. 02/10/2009
