This is a Western Field Model EMN 175 bolt-action 12 gauge shotgun. It holds two rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. It was made for Montgomery Ward by Marlin. The cross reference indicates the Marlin Model 50 is the same gun. I bought this gun from a WW II vet that has had it for many years and really never used it. It has a 28” barrel with a full choke. I don’t believe it is chambered for 3” magnums. The gun is in excellent condition and retains nearly all the bluing. The wood has no cracks or chips, but does show signs of use and has some scuff marks on it. The bore in this shotgun is simply outstanding. The magazine is in great condition and original to the gun. Thanks for looking, and if you’re bidding, good luck.
