An excellent starter pistol for supervised young shooters, this .22 single action revolver must be manually cocked for each round in the six shot cylinder to be fired, making it somewhat safer in less experienced hands. This pistol was purchased new from Herter's Co. in the mid 1960's and has had only one owner. The only departure from the original condition was the purchase of the nice rosewood grips you see pictured. This pistol was made for Herter's by H. Schmidt Ostheim / Rhoen in West Germany and has a 4-3/4" barrel. Serial is 502065.
