Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  not a model 5100 with the rear action pin nearer to the top. looks to be a model 315 and very early judging from the wood. these went out of production just before WWII. 10/21/2008
A:  Thank you kindly! I have too many items like this to investigate or research is overwhelming! I believe its considered a model 50 ? I'll be listening!! DERIL 10/21/2008

Q:  Thats not a 5100. Look at the pins in the action, on a 5100 the rear pin is lower plus the patent date is way early. looks to be a 315. The .702 is surely not the bore but the muzzle end (choke). 5100's never had the grip wood cut in the old bottom bevel fashion. 09/08/2009
