Buyer Tip: If you're the
High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.
Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't
high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
This is a shoulder stock for the Colt 1860 revolver and clones. The wood is in good shape with some minor dings and scrapes. There is a small chip and a hairline crack [ 2 1/4" long approx ] where the stock meets the metal on the right side but the stock is very sound. The metal front part and buttplate are brass showing some minor dings also and patina. It has some interesting marks on it. The top of the comb near the buttplate is stamped "U.S." The top of the buttplate has two numbers stamped in it "7569 and 7570". The front brass part has the same numbers stamped in it at the bottom of the grip area. I have owned this stock since the mid 60's and since I have never seen a known original YOU SHOULD BID ON THIS AS IF IT WERE A NAVY ARMS STOCK as I cannot say it is original. Buyer to pay actual shipping from 65761 zip. Low start and no reserve.
M.O. or certified funds. Shipping weigth is 4lbs. from 65761 zip.
