It is the compressed form of Jim Shockey’s Gold™ Modern Black Powder, giving the same results for the loads you have developed, including the smoke, but without the fouling and corrosion. No lubes are needed, and in fact should be left out of your loading, other than the normal lube contained in the lube grooves of your bullet. And clean-up is a snap, allowing you to even use tap water on a cleaning patch. In addition, this product is shipped and stored as a smokeless powder, making it much easier to ship and store. Many areas have outlawed black powder buying and/or storage entirely or have made it more difficult and expensive. This product burns so clean that shot after shot can be loaded without the fouling build-up that is expected with other products. I have left personal firearms uncleaned for over 5,000 rounds and the fouling never does build up! (Brass cartridge cases DO need to be cleaned right after use, as the nitrate salts will cause discoloration and/or corrosion when combined with the brass. This can be as simple as a soak in detergent/water mixture.)

1. Read all warnings and loading instructions on the bottle's label.

2. Insert the smaller end of the STICKS TM Compressed Charge in the muzzle end of the barrel. Approximately 1/8 of an inch of the STICKS™ Compressed Charge will remain outside the end of the barrel.

3. Using your finger push the portion of the STICKS TM Compressed Charge remaining outside the barrel into the muzzle end of the barrel.

4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the desired number of STICKS ™ Compressed Charges are in the barrel. NEVER EXCEED FIREARM MANUFACTURERS' RECOMMENDED LOADS.

5. Push your projectile into the muzzle end of the barrel as you normally would.

6. Using your ramrod push your projectile and STICKS TM Compressed Charge(s) to the bottom of the barrel.

7. Make sure to seat your projectile firmly against STICKS TM Compressed Charge(s) as air space between STICKS TM Compressed Charge(s) and the projectile may create a hazardous situation.
