This is a Scheutzen, Md-1906, 8.15x46R, DRGM numbered. One side of the barrel reads LORRACH. The other sided reads KARL LAUGER. It is a 31 1/2" heavy octagonal barrel. The bore in excellent. The trigger will release in a strong wind! The mechanics are unbelievable! I purchased this gun from a WWII vet in the late 70's. He explained that his job was to throw these rifles into a heap as the tanks would run them over. He figured out how to bring this particular piece back rather than destroying it! Sad as it is, this happened in wars. I played show and tell with this for 25+ years. It's someone else's turn now. All things considered, I'll grade it as excellent! I should note that I have rounds for this formed from 30-30 Win. brass.
