Questions for Users
(Public)
Q:  DOES THE BAYONET EXTEND AND LOCK INTO PLACE OK? ALSO HOW SEVERE IS THE SPLIT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STOCK BETWEEN THE SLING BAR AND THE BUTTPLATE? ALSO CAN YOU BE MORE SPECIFIC ABOUT THE BORE CONDITION? IS IT SHINY OR DARK, STRONG RIFLING? IS IT COUNTER-BORED? THANKS. 11/04/2007
A:  Thanks for asking. The bayonet mechanism is in excellent condition and locks into place perfectly. The minor crack pictured on the buttstock is very shallow and on one side only, superficial but there. The bore is in very nice condition with moderate briteness good-very good rifling and just the smallest freckling in the grooves, however this may just be the machine marks from manufacture. Not counter bored. My previous typos in the description are now corrected. LTC 11/05/2007
