Buyer Tip: If you're the High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder. Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Winchester Repeating Arms Company -- MODEL 61 SMOOTHBORE .22CAL SHOT CARTRIDGE MFG 1957

WELCOME TO THE OUTDOORSMANS!!!

***NO RESERVE***NO RESERVE***

You are bidding on a USED WINCHESTER MODEL 61 SMOOTHBORE chambered for .22 cal shot cartridge in EXCELLENT condition. Serial number on the action is 259851. The rifle was manufactured in 1957. The receiver is grooved on top like for a scope mount. This gun is near perfect and has not been refinished to the best of my inspection. The blue finish is 95-98+%. The only real blue wear (and we are talking slight) is on the magazine tube and bottom of the barrel where the pump slides on the finish. The bore of the 24 inch smoothbore barrel is in very good condition. This has the second variation model barrel with the Winchester Counter Bore. The pump action on this tube fed rifle is smooth and tight. The trigger is very crisp. The wood stock is in very good condition with some small marks from handling on the buttstock (see photos) but no cracks or large dents/dings. The metal butt plate fits the wood perfectly. What you see is what you get. Mechanically this gun functions perfectly. We got this gun in an estate sale, and have no more history on it. Contact us if you have any questions or need additional photographs. Three day no shoot inspection guarantees your satisfaction. The firearms offered have not been test fired but have been given a visual inspection only for auction purposes. It is the buyer’s responsibility for determining that a used gun is safe to shoot. Check our feedback and bid with confidence.
