This is a near new Navy Arms Buffalo Hunter made by Antonio Zoli. This rifle is based on the 1863 Remington Zouave. Barrel is 26", LOP is 14". A lot handier to use than the full-length Zouave. More info on it can be found here at the Navy Arms website (You need to scroll down to see it on their web page) http://www.navyarms.com/html/spec_sshot.html#hunter I bought this rifle from a collector who told me that he bought it new and only test fired it once and put it away about 20 years ago. I've never fired it. It looks new, with only the slightest marks on it here and there. No rust on the metal and the stock has no cracks. Check out the pics. Bore is in great condition. Trigger and lock function fine. About 15 bullets like the one shown will be included. There is an extra, smaller size nipple in the patch box. This rifle has been on the Navy Arms website for about two years (With no picture), and they say it has been re-introduced. Maybe it has, but I sure can't find one for sale anywhere. My opening bid is a lot less than their $691 price tag anyway. Barrel will be removed and packed separately due to the fact that similar half-stock rifles have a habit of breaking during shipping. NO international sales. KNOW YOUR LOCAL LAWS. I will not ship to locales where black powder rifles are restricted. Double shipping cost for AK & HI. FREE SHIPPING IF YOU USE "BUY IT NOW"
