I'm starting this with a price that I'll let you decide what it's worth!!! First let me say my camera makes the disclosed wear/marks look worse than they are but I want to be as accurate as possible with my listing! Up for auction is an early pre '64 Winchester model 100 chambered in .243 Winchester. It has some light freckling in front of the rear sight but no pits or rust!(pic #7) Two impressed dings on the pistol grip (pic #8)a ding in front of the magazine well (pic #9) a few heavier marks on the right side of the butt (pic #6). As well as other minor handling /use marks that are from honest use not abuse! Bore is good. Action works smoothly. It has the correctly marked M100 magazine that came with the rifle. The bluing has some wear spots i.e.: crown, sights and where noted. It is missing the front sight hood and I do not have it. It has a Herters recoil pad installed and looks to have been put on a long time back. I don't believe the stock has been cut. The checkering is in good shape with nice clean diamonds, it has a period USA made Bausch & Lomb Balvar 2.5-8X40mm gloss scope with the tapered cross hair recital (pic #10. The scope is in excellent condition and the quality of it equals that of a Leupold! The mount on the rifle I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but it has all the adjustments in the mount as the scope has no turrets on it. It also looks to be a quick disconnect mount but insure of that as I have not attempted to mess with it. The adjustment screws look as if they have been blued or blackened except for the right front one. The scope functions properly with a crisp clean sight picture. The sling seems to be period correct as well and is in good function able condition. The white XX in photo #3 is NOT on the rifle. I added that to the photo to conceal the last two digits of the serial number which is 333XX. For the age of this rifle it is in very good shape with honest use marks. Would make a GREAT deer rifle for the younger crowd or the ladies or anyone who doesn’t like the recoil. I've done my ABSOLUTE best to disclose and describe this rifle combo package. Please study the photos carefully and ask questions before bidding, that way we can both save a returned rifle! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
