Up for bids is a decent Berno Kootah or short Mauser manfactured in the 1940's by the Iranian Taslihat-e Artesh (Arms Factories of the Army) These little carbines were manfactured by the Iranians using equipment purchased from the Czech's. This little carbine is also sometimes referred to as a "Camel Carbine". It is 8mm caliber. The carbine is matching with the exception of the bolt. The bore is shiny and bright with strong lands and grooves. This is only the 2nd one of these that I've seen in a long time. I'm trying to raise funds for a minty Chauchaut, so all my non-AEF used weapons are going on the block. Good luck, and thanks for bidding! PS: The Farsi on the side says "sakht-e aslah-e sazi-e artesh" (made by the Army arms factory). In front of that is the serial number in Farsi.
