Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Tokarev -- Svt-38 Rifle Made by Ishevsk 1940

Here is an original Svt-38 rifle in 7.62 x 54 cal. Its made by Ishevsk, it was made in 1940. An Original Ishevsk Svt-38 is truly a rare find as production was only run for a few months. Its condition is about 75% of its original blue finish remaining, NO RUST OR PITTING! All external and internal parts are correct Svt-38 parts,(NOT Svt-40 parts). All parts have correct Ishevsk proof marks on them, the only Tula parts are the bolt, bolt carrier, and the front band. All parts are STAMPED! not electric pen, The trigger housing numbers match the receiver, the bolt and bolt carrier have a different number, However, bolt and bolt carrier both have the same number. The stock is in excellent condition for its age, it has a few hairline cracks, but are very, very tight, it has the usual nicks and dings from wear, but not bad for a 67 years old. The original cleaning rod is also attached to the stock, its all complete. Both barrel bands are original Svt-38 bands, the rear one is a little loose, but probably can be tightened. It also has an original Svt-38 magazine, it is made by Ishevsk and is marked so. The condition of the magazine is about 60%, but its an original Ishevsk magazine. The leather sling is also an original russian sling. The bore is perfect, NO rust, pitting, or dark spots, its nice and shinny. This is truly a very nice gun that served the Russian Army, It has NO import marks on it. It is NOT a refinished gun, Please feel free to aske questions if needed, If you need to ask alot of questions, give me a call at home 847/637-6076.
