This is a rare ( yes, I do not use this word lightly ) Apache Knuckle Duster Knife Pistol. It is in 5mm Pinfire cal.
This pistol is rare for two reasons, first it has a steel frame and Knucks, almost all Apache's have Brass frames; and second, it is in 5mm Pinfire, not the commonly found 7mm cal.
Pistols action functions fine. Grips and Knife blade lock open. After firing all rounds you can fold the pistols grip, and use the knucks to punch and the knife to stab. the small pin that holds the grips closed is missing, but can easily be replaced by an amature gunsmith. Steel pistol shows traces of original nickle finish, scattered pitting, and has been cleaned up in the past.
The "Apache" name came not from Indians, but from the French street gangs. This was a revolver designed to defend ones self against a large number of attackers.
Great and rare oddity, Shipping $15, Proof of age of at least 21 a must ! Totally antique, manufactured around the Civil War era !
