This shotgun was purchased as part of a lot from an estate auction. The forearm is not correct for this shotgun. I've never been able to track down the correct one but then again, I never tried that hard either. Someone has shortened the barrel down to about 22 inches (well within the BATF regs) and tapped in a brass sight. I'm pretty sure that if the correct forearm is put on this gun, it will function properly. Everything else works mechanically. As for the stock, it has some scratches and handling marks. I would certainly say that it's a good candidate for a stripping and refinish. If you have any questions, please ask. Just to be very clear, this gun will not fire as is. It must have the correct forearm first. Oh yes and before I forget. The barrels are a little dirty. They sit as they did when I bought the lot. I never cleaned them out but from the looks, it won't take more than a little effort to get them nice and shiny again. Good luck and thank you for looking.
