Please have it sluged to verify caliber. These rifles killed many fine youn american men during the war, and I would hate to see that tradition continue. The front sight is a lyman, and while not pristine, it is a nice unit. the receiver is drilled and tapped for a peep sight, what do you want to bet a lyman would fit??I love the rifles I built, and this is a great platform for one you could love!
