Special Features:

This FN Browning Pre 1922 is one of the Nazi military semi-automatic pistols. Stamped on the left side of the frame is “Fabrique Nationale D’Armes De Guerre, Herstal Belgique, Browning’s Patent DEPOSE”.  On the slide there is an “H” in parenthesis stamped just in from the FN stamping.  Just below “Fabrique” is stamped WaA140, a German Waffenamt proof.  There is a Nazi Eagle stamped just below and to the right of it.  The Waffenamnt WaA140 proof and German Eagle are also stamped on the frame just behind the trigger. There is a German Eagle stamped on the barrel above the serial number.  Comes with one magazine (picture below) with no serial number and I am not sure if it’s original to the pistol.  The serial numbers all match on the muzzle, frame slide, and barrel, stamped on the right side of the gun.

The firearm is in good condition although not test fired.  The finish appears original with no rust or a little minor rust pitting on the grip and rear of the slide. The blue is worn at the muzzle and front strap of the grip with some general holster wear.  I would call the overall bluing to be 75-80%.  It has the original checkered wood grips with no cracks or severe chips.

The barrel is very shiny inside with only one spot near the muzzle that looks discolored.  The rifling is sharp and clear.

Questions for Users
Q:  hi , i was wondering if they are any import marks on the gun. thank you very much for your time. lloyd 12/02/2006
A:  I have looked very closely and I don't see any import markings at all. I have tried to capture all the proof marks in the photos and describe them all in the description. The Nazi Eagle is also stamped on the barrel at the chamber. 12/02/2006
