This gun is up for auction as a parts gun only. We cannot guarantee that all the components of the gun are present. Parts may or may not be missing from this gun. If we know what is missing we will put it in the description. This gun should only be considered as a parts gun for repairing other guns or as a fixer-upper that may require parts. We purchased this gun to use as a parts gun for our gunsmith. On some guns he has removed parts some he has not. We are accumulating too many, so we are listing them to reduce our inventory.
This Winchester Model 190 is a semi-automatic rifle that is chambered in .22 S, L, and LR. This is a tube-fed carbine model with a 20-1/2" barrel. Bluing on the barrel and magazine tube is 65% with some very minor surface rust pitting on the side of the barrel. The bore is in good condition with no pitting.
The gun has an uncheckered, walnut finished, hardwood stock with an alloy receiver. The buttstock and forend are scratched, but don't appear to have any cracks. The plastic buttplate is in fair condition with no cracks. There are numerous scratches on the top, right and left-side, and bottom of the alloy receiver.
The gun has a fixed front and adjustable rear sight. Serial #744962. STK. #8739.
This gun needs alot of cleaning up and T.L.C., however it does appear that all the parts are present. This Winchester 190 would be a good candidate to be brought back to a decent barn-yard plinker or for use as a parts gun.
