Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Savage -- Model 720 Autoloader 12 Gauge Shotgun

You are looking at a Savage Model 720 Autoloader shotgun. The Model 720 has a Browning A-5 style semi-auto action. These guns were manufactured from 1930 to 1949. This is a real-nice Model 720 that has been used but notabused!

This gun has a 30" plain barrel which is chambered for 2-3/4" shells and choked FULL. The bore is shiny and clean and in excellent condition. It has it's original bluing which is about 90-95%. It also has 90% original finish on the checkered forearm and buttstock which are also in excellent condition. There are some scratches on the buttstock from use and one shallow 6" scratch on the left side, but there are no cracks in either the buttstock or forearm. There is a Red Head Brand red-rubber recoil pad on the gun which is in good condition.

Overall the gun is in excellent condition mechanically and in appearance. Serial #32898. STK. #8997.

This autoloader is in great condition for it's age. You wouldn't need to redo this one to bring back to original, it's looks and operates just fine the way it is. If you've been in the market for an A-5 type shotgun like this Savage you don't want to pass this one up, it's a nice one! This is the nicest one we have had come thru here in 20 years, bar none!

This firearm can only be sent to a FFL or C&R holder.
