Here is a unique round in Remington production. In the 1960’s REA (the old Railway Express Agency, eventually put out of business by UPS) came up with a marketing scheme capitalizing on the fame/concept of the Lone Ranger and the silver bullets he would leave as a memento of his saving someone’s skin. REA delivery people were supposed to be the modern day Ranger saving people’s businesses by their rapid deliveries and would leave this cartridge behind. Its special headstamp is HI-YO REA AWAAAY and was created with a holed DUMMY primer, nickel plated .45 Colt case and nickel plated .45 ACP bullet. This round is the second, final variation; the first was rejected because the original headstamp HI-YO REA! AWAAAY! was deemed too confusing. A very special round for your Remington or Lone Ranger collection. Thanks for looking, and please email us with any questions PRIOR to bidding. Winning bidder pays $6.00 shipping (Priority mail, insured). USPS money order assures next day shipping; other checks are accepted, but must clear.
