Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that you are. Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - Chamelot-Delvigne -- French 1874 Ordnance Revolver - Rare Commercial

This is a very rare 1874 French Ordnance revolver. It is a special "Commercial" model manufactured direct by "Chamelot & Delvigne" which is marked on the left side of the barrel. Instead of the typical left side take down screw like found on the 1873 requiring a screwdriver, this one has a factory take-down "lever" on the right hand side. Pivot the lever up 90 degrees to remove the left side plate and get at the inside and all parts can be removed without tools. Major parts all matching with +70% original blue and very good checkered ebony grips. Still in Original 11mm french caliber and not altered to 45acp like most. Only Fair overall condition, with bright edges but so seldom seen it won't matter. You can always upgrade if you "ever" find another Commercial 1874. Spurless hammer appears original and still functions roughly in both single and double action. Lanyard ring present but likely not original. Lots of dings and scrapes with scattered rust and some small pits. Shows very hard private use. Bore is poor but might clean-up to fair. Some rifling still present. Since this is an antique it is not guarenteed for shooting - have a gunsmith check it out if you intend to shoot it. Buyer pays $29 insured package shipping. All federal, State and Local firearm laws apply. US Sales only. This revolver is an antique and requires no FFL only an "I'm over 21 statement". See my rating and bid with confidence.
