The caliber is 30-30 and total production is 9,000, for this Winchester commemorative. The gun is new in box with instructions, service centers folder, brown wrapping paper, & print by Ferrara.
This gun is 100% new in box. The outer sleeve is in good shape with one tear on the side from handling otherwise, not to bad. The engraved receiver has an antique brushed gold finish with engraved scenes of the "Trail of Tears" 1839 forced Cherokee march. The barrel bands, magazine cap and an inlaid stock medallion are all in antique brushed gold finish. There are some very minor finish cracks on the left and right side of the stock, these are in the finish not scratches. This commemorative also has a unique cartridge trap storage compartment in the buttstock. Serial #CK03XXX. STK #4775.
These Canadian Commemorative Winchester's are somewhat more collectable than the domestic ones. This is a beautiful gun for display or for a gift. This is one of a few guns that came from an estate we purchased. Watch our other auctions for more guns.
