This is a Rare one. A Winchester Model 61 with a " Routledge" Smooth Bore Barrel or Winchester "Counter Bore". This rifle is all original and functions flawlessly. It is in about 95% condition with just a few light handling marks. The Blueing looks great and the wood has got some beautiful grain in it and is original. The barrel is marked Model 61 22 L. Rifle -For Shot only- and is 24" long and the Bore looks like new. It has the original Bead sight also. Serial # is 5210X which I believe puts the Mfg date around 1940 or 41. This is a nice gun for its age. See Pictures........ Shipping will be 25.00 Insured to lower 48. M.0 and /or Cashiers checks accepted along with an FFL to ship. Mastercard/ Visa also(3% extra)accepted. Any Questions please ask. *** Many have asked about the Dia. of the bore and how far the ledge is inside the barrel. The Dia. at the muzzle is .265 and the ledge is 8" in from the muzzle. This may be a Winchester "Counter Bore" instead of a "Routledge Bore" which I am told that they are both very rare and hard to find in as good as shape as this one. I hope this helps everyone. It also has a matte top on receiver.
