Blaser 95 BBF Over & Under Rifle/Shotgun Combination 16ga 7x57R
This is an excellent condition combination rifle chambered in 16ga over 7x57R. There is a bare hint of prior rust on a couple of spots of the barrel, however they are very difficult to notice except on very close inspection. There are a couple of light marks on the wood, but again, only visible on close inspection. Gun is essentially unmarked, except for H. Blaser JSNY on the barrels and "Patent Blaser" on the receiver. I have noted this as a 95 BBF because it is the closest model designation that I can find documented.

*** 07-15-2005 UPDATE ***
I just received an email from an AA'er that asked some very good questions. I've taken the liberty of reproducing his email here, as well as our answers, in hopes that it might be informative to all that are interested in this type of firearm:
Do you have any additional details on this Blaser? It does not conform in details of appearance to any existing current 95/97 models and I can not find any pictures of early production that shares details with this one. Note for example that rear of receiver on yours is fully rounded and the barrels are octagonal at the receiver, not to mention differences in stock conformation. Anyway, because of above, I am curious as to:
My answers are in red:
A. Is it specifically marked 95 BBF or did you possibly just infer this from the 95 BBF being a most similar appearing current model? As I noted in the text of the auction, the gun is essentially unmarked. I took a wild guess based on basic appearance that it was a 95 variation.
B. If it is not model marked and possibly a different model or an early prototype, does it:
a) cock on open/closing, or (it cocks on sliding the safety forward)
b) cock on sliding safety forward per current 95/97
i. Requiring re-cock to fire second barrel (like 95), or (you need to re-cock between shots)
ii. fire both barrels in sequence without recock like a 97?
1. Do the two barrels have the 95/97
adjustable aim/sight regulation feature? This means that the
rib allows independent barrel movement per adjustment points.
2. Is 16 gauge for a 65mm or 70 mm (2 3/4")
shell-length? This is a concern since this is likely a European only
3. Does the shotgun barrel have a fixed choke (if
so, what is it) or choke inserts?
4. What is barrel length? (measured from cartridge base) (23 3-4”)
5. Is there evidence of a scope having been mounted? If so, do you have bases/rings? (it doesn’t look like has been mounted, no rings are included)
6. Does the stock have a left-side cheek piece? (yes)
7. Is the receiver aluminum as it appears? (yes)
8. What are the manual sights like/are they
present? If folding leaf rear, are there multiple leafs?
9. What is internal condition/appearance of the barrels? (excellent, it doesn’t look like the gun was used much)
