Buyer Tip: If you're the
High Bidder in an auction when it closes, don't assume you're the final High Bidder.
Someone could outbid you in the final seconds of the auction if your Max Bid isn't
high enough. You're not the high Bidder until you've been notified by email that
you are. All Auctions are conducted in Pacific Time.
This revolver is a Spanish copy of an S&W DA 1st Model in .44 cal. It's from
about WWI period and is a very well-built and "beefy" gun. Looks 19th century.
This one has a seasoned look and it functions well. It also looks like it means
business. This one has been in my collection for several years and was an
exhibit in my Old West museum several years ago.
It can be shot but (technically) I can't recommend shooting it due to the
legalities. As it is antique, I am not allowed to say that it's a "shooter". It
IS a very decent gun and is original in all ways except the grips. Also it's
quite affordable compared to original S&W's. Buyer pays $15.00 shipping. Good
luck bidding and ~
Happy Trails,
Cowboy Rod
