This is a German (Turkish contract) mauser manufactured in Germany before 1898 therefore can be sold with no FFL needed. This rifle was rechambered in 1933 for modern 8mm mauser ammunition. I would rate the bore as good to very good and shiney. A few things which make this rifle more collectible than most Turkish contract mausers is that it has the original straight stock and also has the magazine cut off box present although the cut off lever was removed or ground off when it was rebarreled. The stock has the usual dings and minor cracks for a over 100 year old military rifle and probably has been sanded at one time but still presents itself nicely. Reciever, barrel and rear sight numbers match but bolt does not. (this is common). Please add $15.00 for shipping in continental USA.
