NOTE: ALL OF MY STEVENS LISTINGS ARE NOW IN THE NO-RESERVE FORMAT, TO ELIMINATE GUESSWORK HASSLES FOR STEVENS COLLECTORS. The goal is to get these Stevens sold and into the hands of collectors. This Gun is being sold in compliance with all Federal and State regulations on the sale and transfer of firearms. This is an FFL or C&R sale. The sale of Guns made after 1898 is regulated by the Federal Firearms Act and applicable state laws, and transfer is to C&R collectors or FFL dealers only. Guns made over 50 years ago from this date are generally Curio or Relic firearms. Shipping is $14.00. Guns are well packed and insured. Please add 3% for Visa/MC. This Stevens is one of a large collection of Stevens rifles and pistols that I am selling. Please see my Web site, gun-quest.com/bulletin for a complete listing of the Stevens I have for sale. THINK ABOUT GIVING A STEVENS FOR CHRISTMAS OR BIRTHDAY GIFT! Thanks. Shooter Don NOTE:1890's STEVENS STORE SIGN THE PURCHASER OF THE ABOVE RIFLE WILL RECEIVE FREE OF CHARGE ONE OF THE 1890'S STEVENS STORE SIGNS I HAVE HAD RECREATED. the 1890's Stevens store sign that you may have seen in my Stevens advertisements. The original 7 x 12 sign was printed on very thin aluminum - the new signs are being printed on sturdy 18 ga. aluminum, 7 x 12, and the printing is faithful to the original. Signs will be packed in protected envelopes. The original sign must be really rare considering that Harold Strong, author of "A History and Digest of The J. Stevens Arms and Tool Company" (1991 private publication) told me that he had only seen pictures of this sign, and never had seen an actual sign during his 40+ years of collecting and exhibiting Stevens rifles and pistols. There is no depiction of this sign in West's 1971 book nor in any other related publication covering Stevens firearms and advertising materials that I have been able to locate, and there is no listing of any such sign on the 3 major auctions that I have been able to locate in the last 9 months of trying. The signs will be available for shipment on or about November 27 (God willing!) Order now and it will help me get your sign ready to ship. For additional signs, Cost of the sign will be $24.95 and $4.00 shipping = $28.95 Deduct $ 4.00 for each sign thereafter up to 5, and shipping will be $2.00 each Deduct $ 6.00 thereafter for each sign over 5, shipping $2.00 each Good Christmas Gifts! Original sign can also be seen on my Web site - www.gun-quest.com
