REMINGTON ~ MODEL 3200 TRAP
ONE OF 1000...30" IM/F...GORGEOUS, AS NEW, UNFIRED
NO RESERVE!! What a beauty this is! Here is a Remington Model 3200 Trap "One of 1000" over/under 12-gauge shotgun. This fantastic shotgun remains in "as new" condition and has not been fired since it was manufactured in 1973. It features 30" barrels, 2-3/4" chambers, and is choked Improved Modified and Full. The 3200 also features a single selective trigger and automatic ejectors. The receiver is nicely engraved and has a high polish blue finish. The wood is nothing short of beautiful, expertly checkered and showing lots of figure. Condition is hard to beat and this gun grades very nearly 100%. There are a few small interior marks on the monoblock that are normal, occurring during assembly, but they cannot be seen with the gun together. The exterior finish is excellent and completely free of any rust or pitting. The stocks are in superb condition, free of any handling marks. The mechanics are in perfect working order and the gun has received the Remington factory updates. The bores are mirror bright. It comes in the lockable factory Remington case (the foam liner was expertly replaced as the original had deteriorated with time). The original owner's manual and hang tag are included. The Remington 3200 has a reputation for being a reliable, durable and accurate shotgun and are highly sought after by collectors and shooters alike. This is a really outstanding example!!
A SPECIAL NOTE: This shotgun was reportedly given as a gift from the Remington factory to a championship trap shooter named Duffy. With it was a matching 3200 Skeet with the same serial number. It is estimated that only about 60 pairs of Remington 3200 "One of 1000" shotguns left the factory as matching sets and they were never advertised. That "as new/unfired" Skeet gun is also on auction here: REMINGTON 3200 SKEET ONE-OF-1000
