Our Assessment: This is a nice black powder revolver that someone has cared for well. There is some question as to the quality of Armi San Marco revolvers, but this seems to be very well made. It also begs the question: Why is it that an Italian manufacturer that is no longer in business can make a 24 year old revolver with solid lockup and no drag line on the cylinder when Ruger, Smith & Wesson and Colt haven’t been able to very often (Colt Pythons being one exception, but even they get drag lines?) If you are into black powder, this .36 caliber revolver should give many years of enjoyment. It can be used for informal plinking or take it out to a Cowboy Action match and have some real fun.
