The stock shows minor handling marks with a mark at the toe of the butt, minor compression marks on the right side of the forend and a small mark in the rosewood forend tip. There is a dark grain in the right side of the forend that extends from the trigger guard to the front end of the forend checkering. It almost looks like a water stain, but we have seen Japanese Weatherby’s with this type of coloring before. Please see our pictures. The checkering is sharp and without mars. The LOP measures 13 7/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the thin recoil pad, which is still pliable on the edges. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

The rest of the barrel and magazine tube show only light handling marks. The trigger guard shows light handling marks plus 2 marks through the finish. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The scope and rings are included.
Our Assessment: This is a great looking semi-auto rimfire rifle that is well made and in great condition. It is a full size rifle perhaps a little large for a young shooter, but makes a great small game rifle. It is also good for target shooting so you can re-capture proper sight picture and trigger control techniques using inexpensive ammo vs. using your big game centerfire rifle. With its single shot mode, it can also be used to safely teach newer shooters the basics.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This rifle can be transferred in California.
