Our Assessment: The J.C. Higgins Model 20 is basically a High Standard Flite-King Deluxe with a screw adjustable choke similar in principle to the famous Poly-Choke. This choke is marked in the traditional choke designations (IMP. CYL., MOD. FULL etc.) and beneath each of the designations is a suggested yardage (30 yards, 35 yards, and 55 yards) which seems like a novel idea. Mechanically this shotgun remains sound and should have a long and useful life still ahead of it. This gun could be used for hunting, skeet, sporting clays, trap and home defense.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
