Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - WINCHESTER MODEL 1893, 12 GA -- CIRCA 1896, PUMP ACTION SHOTGUN, ANTIQUE, NO FFL

Up for bids and in excellent conditionis the WINCHESTER MODEL 1893, pumpa action shotgun made in 1896. Due to design problems, WINCHESTER recalled all of the MODEL 1893's and replaced them with the new MODEL 1897's. All of the recalled guns were destroyed by WINCHESTER. So nice and original 1893's are hard to find. This one is in excellent condition with about 80% orinal blue finish. The wood is all original with bo ctacks or damage and has never been sanded or refinished. It still has the original steel butt plate. All markings are sharp and clear. The action is crsip and tight, the bore shows light freckling throughout. These guns were designed for black powder, so keep this in mind if you decide to shoot it after being checked by your gunsmith. Being manufactured in 1896, this is an ANTIQUE and requires NO FFL. I will need the buyer to provide a signed proof of age and a statement that there are no state or local laws barring the purchase. Shotgun will ship directly to you including CA. Foreign sales OKAY where allowed by local laws. Selling with NO RESERVE, please include $40 shipping within the US.
