Yep, this is uglier than hammered mud but it would be a great source of obsolete parts. This is a Stevens Model 820 slide-action shotgun in 12ga. The stock is broken at the wrist and somebody has painted it rattle-can gloss black. The slide lock works and it appears relatively intact otherwise.
Sold as-is and we make no warranty or statement about this gun's ability to fire. It is being sold strictly as a source of parts. Even so, this is a firearm under federal law and must be transferred through a licensed dealer. Since the 820 stopped production in the mid-1950's we will accept a C&R FFL for this gun.
This is being started at $1 with NO RESERVE!
Handguns shipping to Type 01, 02 or 07 FFL holders will be shipped using USPS Priority Mail, Insured, with Delivery Confirmation. C&R Handguns shipping to Type 03 FFL holders will go FedEx Express at actual cost. All rifles/shotguns will be shipped FedEx Ground at actual cost. All shipping prices listed are for the lower 48 contiguous states, AK/HI will incur a higher shipping cost. We cannot ship to APO/FPO addresses. No export sales, including to Puerto Rico or Guam. We do include a signed copy of our Federal Firearms License in all shipments.
We do not presume to know every firearm law for every state. It is the buyer’s responsibility to know what is legal to purchase where you live. In general, all modern firearms (made after 1898) must ship to a Federal Firearms Licensee.
California: Yes, we DO ship to California. Modern handguns must be on the CA DOJ approved list and we attempt to list that information in each particular item description. Curio & Relic handguns are exempt from the DOJ list; however they must be shipped to an 01 FFL. C&R long guns can ship directly to a 03 FFL.
Curio & Relic Firearms:
We do ship C&R eligible firearms directly to Type 03 FFL holders whenever legally permissible. Certain locales (NJ, NYC, CA, etc) have restrictions, so please know your regulations.
Antique Firearms: In general, firearms made before 1899 do not require shipment to an FFL. We do require submitted proof of age (18 for long guns, 21 for hand guns), but otherwise these can ship directly to your door. Some locales have restrictions on antique cartridge firearms, so please know your regulations.
CA – 10rd maximum capacity
NJ – 15rd maximum capacity on semiautomatic firearms
MD – 20rd maximum capacity (except .22 tubular magazines)
MA – 10rd maximum capacity
HI – 10rd maximum capacity<
We are not able, in most cases, to substitute lower capacity magazines unless specified in the item description. If the magazine would be illegal in your state the gun will be shipped without the magazine without any price adjustment. Please understand your state’s magazine restrictions before you bid.
We must receive payment within 7 days of auction close or we will relist the auction. If you are mailing in a payment, please notify us when you mail it and provide us the Delivery Confirmation number and we will extend the 7 day period if necessary. In no event will we hold a Sold item past 14 days.
USPS Money Orders and verifiable bank cashier’s checks ship immediately. We do hold business and personal checks for 10 days prior to shipment. We happily accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover by phone and will provide the number to call after the auction closes. There is a 2.5% fee added to the total price when a credit card is used. Our profit margins are too low to eat Final Value Fees for the auction site and also pay the credit card fees. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PAYPAL, GUNPAL, OR ANY OTHER “PAL.” We do accept trades for local customers, but it is almost impossible to work a trade from a distance.
Texas residents must pay 6.3% state sales tax. Texas FFL Dealers may supply a Resale Certificate.
All new guns carry a warranty from the manufacturer. We are not a warranty repair station. Please take the time to register your gun’s warranty with the manufacturer. We do offer a 3-day return on new guns provided it has not been fired or disassembled.
We make every attempt to accurately describe used guns for sale, however, in most cases we have not test-fired any used gun. It is the buyer’s responsibility to determine if any used gun is safe to shoot. Wherever you buy a used gun, on the Internet or in person, it is a good idea to have a reputable gunsmith check it over before you shoot it. We do offer a 3-day inspection and return policy on all used guns, which starts upon delivery confirmation. In the unlikely event of a return, we will refund the auction price including any credit card fee. Shipping is not refundable, and the buyer is responsible for return shipping. If you have any question about any gun we offer, please ask before you bid. We want you to be happy with your purchase!
