Mechanics: The action functions correctly, but it is a little stiff. The trigger pull is light and crisp. We did not fire this rifle.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None
Our Assessment: This rifle has certainly not been shot very much; even though it was made back in the 1960’s before the annoying cross-bolt safety was added to this model. The action is still stiff, and the wood and bore are in excellent condition. This rifle would make a great gift for the younger hunter just starting out, but at 6 ½ pounds would also be a great deer rifle for us older types who don’t want to carry around a heavy rifle all day.
CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This rifle can be transferred/sold in California.
