Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Harrington & Richardson, Inc. / Ultra Automatic / Worcester, Mass. U.S.A.”. The right side of the barrel is marked “ -308 WIN- / Ultra Rifle”. The left side of the receiver is marked “AL202781”, and “U.S. Pat. 3314183”.

Sights / Optics: This rifle had its iron sights removed (the front site will be provided). The front sight holes are not filled, the rear sight holes are filled with set screws. There is a is mounted Weaver K4 Micro Trac on Weaver rings and mounts. The optics are clear and the crosshairs are duplex. There are nicks to the finish of the scope tube but no dents. There is scratching on the both sides from mounting or moving the scope in the rings. The tube at the front lens shows finish loss and nicks on its edges. Overall the scope is in Good plus condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered and nicely grained with cheek piece and pistol grip. The checkering is sharp. There are numerous compression marks scratches and dings present, the worst of which is on the left side of the stock above the magazine, and on the right side of the buttstock. Only a few of these scratches or dings penetrate the surface finish and do not compromise the integrity of the stock. There are two deep scratches on the bottom side of the stock at the front swivel. These are NOT cracks. The LOP measures approx. 13 3/16” from the trigger to the back of the rubber “Whiteline” butt pad. The butt pad is thin and slightly pliable. The stocks rate in about Good plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp and deep. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 85% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows scratches on the first 6” of the barrel. There is a small mark on the right side of the receiver at the rear. There is light edge wear on the magazine. The Screw heads are serviceable and show light use. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Two magazines are provided along with the scope, mount and rings. The original front sight is also provided.
Our Assessment: This is a relatively rare and good quality semi auto rifle. This is a very versatile caliber and can take most North American game with many factory loadings are available. This will make a very good already set-up hunting rifle for 2012 / 2013. All you need to add is ammo and you will be good to go!
