Sights / Optics: The gun is mounted with a wide blade front sight, in a dovetail lost. The rear sight is a leaf notch sight, with elevator present.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are lightly varnished wood with an open grain. There are scattered marks and dings, with patches of finish loss. There are no splits or cracks. The LOP measures about 13 7/8". The stocks rate in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no pitting or erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows scattered freckling on the barrel that will generally clean. There is some marking on the sides of the trigger guard. There is some marking on the scope rails. The Screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this gun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action apparently functions as designed, though we have not fired this rifle.

Our Assessment: This is a vintage .22 rifle with most unusual features. The rifle allows Short and Long ammunition to be fired semi auto. This rifle certainly has seen some history, and can still provide many years of use.
