This is a very nice Antonio Zoli 16 gauge over 222 Remington combination rifle shotgun. Crossbolt lockup with the rifle trigger being a set trigger. There is extensive engraving on the sidelocks and bottom of the coined receiver. I believe the german barrels that are nicely blued include a full choke for the shotgun barrel. Walnut is nicely figured with an oil finish and hand checkering. There is a European dovetail scope base as well as a folding rear sight and blade front sight. The sling swivels are narrower than 1 inch so I cut down a leather sling to fit and it is included. Here are the markings on the gun: Left side of barrels: Anton Zoli Arms Gardone VT Italy Right side of barrels: Hege GMBH & Co. Schwab Hall Germany Special Nickel Chrome Steel Nitro Proven Bottom of barrels: Antonio Zoli 45XXX Cal 16/70 .222 REM Flats of receiver: 45XXX Cal 16/70 .222 REM Antonio Zoli (proof marks) Bottom of receiver; Antonio Zoli Original Hobsacker Forearm iron: 45XXX Even though this is a fairly ornate gun that I have owned since about 1975, I have killed deer and turkey with it. Yet it remains extremely nice. This is not a cheap Zoli but a very high quality European combination gun. The finish of both metal and wood is over 90%. I have never seen a Zoli like this before. If you know about them I would like to hear it. I hope it goes to a good home. Selling for my daughters college.
