Markings: The left barrel is marked “Coachgun 12 GA 3” Chamber”. The right barrel is marked “Imp. By Stoeger Inc., Wayne, N.J.”. The lug is marked “V”, and M/ 178”. The flat is marked “462156”. The water table is marked “462156”. The left side of the receiver is marked “E.R. Amantino”, and the right side is marked “Gaucha-IGA Made In Brazil”.
Barrel Length and Chokes: 20”. The left bore measures .708” and the right .716”.
Sights / Optics: This shotgun is mounted with a brass bead atop a full length rib.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are light colored smooth wood. There are a couple of small chips missing just behind the receiver on the left. There are no visible cracks and just a few handling marks. The LOP measures approx. 13 5/8” from the front trigger to the back of the plastic buttplate. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. The chambers are a bit rough. There is no apparent erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 50% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows a few scratches and bald spots on the barrel and the area around the chamber and receiver has finish loss and discoloration and shows gray on the barrels. The bottom of the receiver shows minor pinprick erosion and thinning and is now gray/brown. The Screw heads are sharp and undamaged. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun.

Our Assessment: Here is a good shotgun for cowboy action shooting, home defense, and general purpose shotgun fun. The short barrels make it a cowboy action natural. The three inch chambers give you much flexibility. Have fun with this shotgun.
