Seller's Description

Guns For Sale - J. STEVENS ARMS & TOOL CO. -- J STEVENS 522 12 GUAGE

An old John M. Browning design 12 gauge 2 3/4" pump gun. Designed as a utilitarian piece. This firearm has been totaly refurbished...metal has been reblued with a hint of pitting still remaining, wood has been refinished and checkering recut...no apparent cracks, recoil pad added making the LOP 13 1/2". Big 30" ribbed (non vented) with a full choke.l Probably make a great turkey shoot gun. The old tapered chokes work much better thatn the screw in chokes for winning turkey shoots. This frearm is from the 1930-40 circa and it apprears to function completely but I am selling as is. This firearm is part of an estate and my knowledge of her history is limited. Someone must have liked her enough to spend the money on her to look pretty again.

Questions for Users
(Public)
    Q:  do hit shoot? 10/23/2012
A:  We did fire it this morning and it actually functioned flawlessly with a low velocity target round. Nice strike on the primer as well...should be no issues if you are thinking about using this old girl. 10/24/2012
